The Everything Plus Tour - 9 am Monday through Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pmThe Everything Plus Tour - 9 am Monday through Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pm N/A What makes this tour so "Plus" is the time you will spend at Historic Churchill Downs. The 1.5 hours you spend there will include a walking tour (most mornings see the horses on the track for their morning workout), and the feature film, "The Greatest Race" viewed on the 360 degree screen. Before you leave explore the two story museum dedicated to horse racing as well as visiting the gift shop. Back on the bus, you will step back in time as you are driven through the Victorian Mansion's gas lit streets, stop at the Slugger Museum or Glass Works, discover Old Louisville, St James Court, the Cast Iron District and more! The tour stops at many local spots for you to hop off the bus for the of experience shopping local and sampling local tastes. Some of the stops could include a historic confectionery, Kentucky’s Premier Bourbon Chocolatier, Historic Fourth Street, The Falls of the Ohio, Musuem Row, and a park known for its beautiful skyline view of Louisville! The Everything Plus Tour - 9 am Monday through Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pmThe Everything Plus Tour - 9 am Monday through Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pm N/A What makes this tour so "Plus" is the time you will spend at Historic Churchill Downs. The 1.5 hours you spend there will include a walking tour (most mornings see the horses on the track for their morning workout), and the feature film, "The Greatest Race" viewed on the 360 degree screen. Before you leave explore the two story museum dedicated to horse racing as well as visiting the gift shop. Back on the bus, you will step back in time as you are driven through the Victorian Mansion's gas lit streets, stop at the Slugger Museum or Glass Works, discover Old Louisville, St James Court, the Cast Iron District and more! The tour stops at many local spots for you to hop off the bus for the of experience shopping local and sampling local tastes. Some of the stops could include a historic confectionery, Kentucky’s Premier Bourbon Chocolatier, Historic Fourth Street, The Falls of the Ohio, Musuem Row, and a park known for its beautiful skyline view of Louisville! (Did anyone say "Photo Op"??) Of course, we couldn’t call ourselves City Taste Tours without letting you taste what Louisville is all about. So, along your fun journey through Louisville, many food tastes are served some might be Jenny Benedict’s Benedictine, a surprising twist on the Kentucky Hot Brown, Bourbon Chocolate Truffles, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, Kern’s Kitchen’s Derby Pie, or whatever is the specialty of the season. All along the way you will be served infused flavored Bourbons, local craft beer, regional wine... and of course, the Mint Julep!
